Free parking. At last, a hotel who puts tv opposite the bed! Lovely size room with a chair and chiller which was handy. Usual tea etc. Shame it was a shower over bath but had rail and mat. Nice heated radiator to dry swimsuit. Not a slow closing toilet lid so that made me jump! Liked that hairdryer wasn’t tied down and didn’t have to keep buttons pressed while using. Had a lovely birthday surprise, very thoughtful. The spa area was very nice and easy to use although changing room was quite small but fantastic that it’s included in price. The breakfast was good and had all the usual items. Staff were very quick to clear but maybe a little bit too much at times. Had just finished cereal and husband and I had gone to get cooked when came back to find our table had been cleared completely! Had to redo it. The coffee machines were playing up but just meant a bit of a wait and the orange juice was insipid and more like squash.

I stayed for one night, had a very comfortable and spacious room & bathroom. It was very warm but I felt uncomfortable leaving open the window - ground floor. I think this is something that should be addressed. I ate in the bar that night. The food was fine, as was the glass of wine I had. Breakfast the next morning was the usual buffet fare, mixed quality, but I was unable to try many items. Breakfast service ended at 9.30, but at 8.50 some food had finished & wasn't replenished. I had no time to use the pool, gym or spa so can't comment on them, but they seemed popular. The public areas were very clean and well decorated. Every member of staff I met was very pleasant and helpful

Julie

We liked everything the staff are fantastic very polite and helpful friendly and very kind this was our second visit to the hotel spa pool was great the food was brilliant value for money the bar staff was amazing especially a young lady called Page , the hotel was very busy but the staff did amazing job by keeping the restaurant and bar clean and tidy, breakfast time was even busier on Sunday everyone was trying to get there breakfast before checking out , ever time we visit the hotel you see the Manager Paul greetings people and cleaning the tables and making sure that things are done for the customers , that’s what you call a fantastic manager who helps his customers and staff

It is a very quiet location, I liked the elegance of the design and decoration of the hotel. Very comfy bedroom. I appreciated that you don't have time limitations for the spa and towels are provided. The gardens around are lovely. The receptionist Gosia was really helpful, special thanks to her: the bar doesn't warm up anything for you they ask you to go to reception for this, I had a small soup to warm up for the evening- I checked their menu but because of intolerances/allergies it was safer for me to warm up my own container. It's unfortunate the bar declined it. The steam room floor wasn't clean enough.

We very much enjoyed our stay, very comfortable, very good facilities, very beautiful site. We enjoyed using the swimming pool, car park well laid out. Excellent breakfast. Staff were excellent a particular thanks to Simon King ( I think I have his correct name ) at the front desk who moved us to a different room on the second day. The first room no 217 was noisy, it may have been the ventilation system which may have had a fault, or possibly from the spa facility, Whatever it was rattled quite loudly all night. The second room just along the corridor was perfect. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
